An industrial holding built around engineering

Headquartered in Wiesbaden, working across Europe, the CIS and MENA. Four business domains, four sectors, and a preference for saying plainly what we do and do not do.

About

Who we are

Glorinda GmbH is an international industrial holding company headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany. We deliver industrial services through branches across several regions, and we help businesses and industries adopt innovative ideas, address technical challenges and improve operational efficiency.

What that means in practice is narrower and more useful than a holding company description suggests. We develop products under the Glorinda brand and have them manufactured by qualified OEM partners. We engineer and integrate process plants across four sectors. We take engineering and project roles around those plants — feasibility consultant, EPC advisor, owner's engineer, EPCM contractor, and EPC contractor where the scope suits. We help technology owners commercialise internationally. And we structure and access financing for projects that need it.

How we think about the work

Our approach rests on three things. Efficiency — the technologies we offer are selected to be highly efficient compared with the alternatives, with low operating costs from robust and user-friendly processes. Sustainability — we prioritise methods with minimal environmental impact and reduced carbon footprint, and we treat dependable technologies with extended lifespans as a sustainability measure in itself, because it reduces the waste created at the end of equipment life. Innovation — we consistently assess existing methods to determine whether they are still necessary and effective, and we actively seek new solutions rather than repeating designs.

We also believe in horizontal, parallel structures that reinforce and protect each other rather than axial ones — organisations with leading, modifying and developing effects on each other. That is why we focus on economic and industrial activities that interact and are synergic, and avoid designing individual structures and systems in isolation. It sounds abstract until you see how it plays out on a project: the water system, the energy recovery, the products and the financing are usually the same conversation.

Values

Our values

Trust

Trust is the basis of all relationships. We say what we do and do what we say, and we advise openly and honestly. Becoming a trusted brand requires a culture focused on commitment, quality, teamwork, will to win and personal responsibility.

Cooperation

Being excellent at everything is like chasing perfection — difficult and often unattainable, particularly when top performance in both manufacturing and marketing is required at once. We treat collaboration between companies as a fundamental value, aiming for a structure that generates extra-positive outcomes for all parties.

Accountability

We act with diligence, responsibility, trustworthiness, security, conscientiousness, thoroughness, honesty and decency in all directions.

Innovation

We consistently assess existing methods to determine their necessity and effectiveness, exploring ways to improve them or introduce replacements — aiming for increased efficiency, reduced environmental impact and, where possible, influence on regional trends.

Growth

We have established a growth ecosystem where new ideas can thrive, helping partners recognise opportunities in diverse markets and giving them the marketing tools, roadmaps and access they need.

Sustainability

Methods with minimal environmental impact and reduced carbon footprint, and dependable technologies with extended lifespans that reduce technology-related waste at end of life.

Mission & vision

Mission

We work to create and define innovative, modern systems and structures in economic activity areas, and to support and develop them — showing that innovative and efficient solutions can be designed and implemented successfully.

Vision

We believe that with a modern creative view most losses can be avoided. Our vision is to make change consciously and intelligently: to accelerate positive change and avoid the loss of non-renewable resources, energy and materials. That is only possible by defining new methods for creating economic and industrial structures — and our aim is to become a role model and a dependable consultant and collaborator in doing so.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Glorinda a manufacturer or an engineering company?

Both, in a specific sense. We are the brand owner and technical authority for products made by qualified OEM partners, and we are an engineering organisation that designs, integrates and commissions process plants. We do not operate our own factories, and we do not self-perform civil construction.

What industries do you serve?

Environment (water, wastewater, sludge, waste), energy (renewables, waste-to-energy, thermal, storage), oil and gas (midstream and downstream), and food and pharmaceutical. Within those we work with water utilities, power generators, refineries and petrochemical complexes, chemical and fertilizer plants, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech, mining and steel, textile, pulp and paper, electronics, agriculture, municipalities, EPC contractors and industrial startups.

Where do you operate?

Head office in Wiesbaden, Germany, with branches across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the CIS, and a sales office in the Netherlands. Priority markets are Europe, the CIS, MENA and South America.

Are you certified?

Yes — ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 under an Integrated Management System, with a scope covering engineering services, procurement, construction management, installation, commissioning, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance for oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater, energy and environmental projects.

Have you built similar projects?

Our analyzer systems business holds a substantial published reference list. For process and water scopes, reference projects are being cleared for publication with the clients concerned — ask us for the ones relevant to your sector and region and we will share what has been released.
