Trading and procurement
We do not treat trading as connecting a buyer to a seller. Half the value is telling a customer that the solution they asked for is not the one they need.
Overview
Overview
At Glorinda we perceive trading not as a transactional link between customers and sellers but as a way to deliver tailored and intelligent solutions. In negotiation, our objective is to distinguish genuine needs from superficial demands. Customers sometimes seek quick solutions that have been imposed on them; by listening carefully and examining what they are actually trying to achieve, we often find that the chosen solution is neither suitable nor an intelligent response to the real need.
Through comprehensive analysis we work to correct the solution and reduce cost, and we take a forward-looking view, offering solutions that will still fit as the client's requirements evolve. The wider objective is to prevent customers from gravitating towards preconceived solutions dictated by industry giants, and to prioritise their interests at every stage.
Our approach in three steps: attentive listening to gather the requirement and the concerns behind it; thorough evaluation of the actual need; and proportionate solutions, precisely tailored to the requirement rather than to what is easiest to sell.

What we source
Equipment and packages
Through collaboration with advanced manufacturers, we provide equipment for upstream, midstream and downstream oil, gas and petrochemical industries, and across our other sectors, including turbines, compressors, pumps, filters, instrumentation, skid packages, and chemicals and catalysts.
Raw materials and catalysts
Glorinda has a vast network of suppliers of chemical raw materials and catalysts in international trade, with experts experienced in export, import and transportation solutions. The primary objective is to supply raw materials to petrochemicals, oil and gas, refining, mud drilling, minerals and water treatment at competitive prices.
Why a consortium rather than a catalogue
We have established a consortium of manufacturers and partners spanning several regions, which lets us fulfil requirements at competitive prices with reliable delivery. Because we can offer a wide array of products across energy, environment, steel, minerals and more, clients are relieved of the burden of searching for and qualifying multiple manufacturers themselves.
That matters most on projects where a dozen small packages each need a qualified vendor, a technical review and a commercial negotiation — the work that quietly consumes a procurement team's year.

Ten contract structures
- Offtake agreement — ensuring a steady flow of products or resources.
- Revenue sharing agreement — sharing profits on mutually agreed terms.
- Carbon credit contract — facilitating emission reduction initiatives.
- Supply agreement — ensuring steady and reliable supply of goods or materials.
- Tolling contract — processing or manufacturing services on behalf of clients.
- Offshore production contract — managing production activities in offshore locations.
- Build-operate-transfer (BOT) — constructing, operating and transferring infrastructure or facilities.
- Exclusive distribution agreement — securing exclusive distribution rights for specific regions or markets.
- Joint venture agreement — forming strategic partnerships for shared ventures.
- Licensing agreement — granting rights to use intellectual property or technology.
These contracts are designed to address specific requirements and foster mutually beneficial outcomes, so that clients have a full suite of options rather than a single template.

Connecting local innovators to the global network
A significant part of our trading service involves partnering with local heroes: identifying and supporting innovative, technologically advanced and high-quality companies worldwide, and offering them a platform to connect with the global market.
We also offer the opportunity for products and brands to be introduced under a reputable name. Small companies often struggle to compete with larger industrial brands and miss opportunities for presence and competition nationally and internationally. Operating under an established international brand allows well-qualified companies to reach the world market while continuing to develop.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which products do you supply?
Equipment and packages across water, energy, oil and gas and food and pharma — turbines, compressors, pumps, filters, instrumentation and skid packages — plus chemical raw materials and catalysts for petrochemicals, oil and gas, refining, mud drilling, minerals and water treatment.
Can you handle procurement for a whole project?
Yes. Procurement services and equipment procurement are part of our industrial services scope, and our supplier consortium is specifically there to remove the burden of qualifying multiple manufacturers.
Will you tell us if we have specified the wrong thing?
Yes, and it is a deliberate part of how we work. Our objective in negotiation is to distinguish genuine needs from superficial demands, and where a chosen solution is not a suitable answer to the actual need we will say so and propose a corrected one.
What if we want an unusual commercial structure?
Ten contract types are available as standard, from offtake and revenue sharing through tolling, BOT, joint venture and licensing. If none fits, we would rather design one than force the relationship into the wrong template.
