Ion exchange resins and separation media

Over 200 types, backed by resin screening, process design and a quality control programme you can audit. Glorinda Resins is part of Glorinda Holding GmbH.

Overview

Overview

Glorinda Resins, a part of Glorinda Holding GmbH, offers a wide range of resins and related services: ion exchange resins, adsorbent resins, chelating resins, chromatography media, powder resins, solid phase peptide carriers, enzyme carriers and agarose medium — more than 200 types in total.

Resin selection is where separation projects are decided, and it is not a catalogue exercise. The right medium depends on the species you are targeting, what else is in the stream, the operating temperature and pH, the regeneration regime you can support and the economics of the cycle. That is why our technical service leads with screening and demonstration rather than with a price list.

The full catalogue, application data and technical documentation live at resin.glorinda.com.

How Glorinda products are made. Glorinda is the brand owner and the technical authority. Products carrying our name are developed under the Glorinda brand and manufactured by qualified OEM partners inside a quality-controlled supply chain that we specify and audit. We own the technical specification, the branding, the quality control and the custom product development. We do not operate our own factories, and we would rather say so than have a procurement engineer discover it during vendor qualification.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many resin types do you offer?

Over 200, across ion exchange resins, adsorbent resins, chelating resins, chromatography media, powder resins, solid phase peptide carriers, enzyme carriers and agarose medium.

Can you screen resins for our specific stream?

Yes. Resin screening, experimental demonstrations, process optimisation and troubleshooting are part of our technical service, alongside installation, commissioning and operator training.

What quality control do you apply?

Mastersizer particle size analysis, specific surface area (SBET) and pore size determination, FTIR spectrometry, COD metering, Agilent HPLC, resin strength testing, moisture analysis, acid-base titration detection, AKTA purifier for protein purification and ICP elemental analysis.

Do you supply systems as well as media?

Yes — ion exchange systems, mixed bed systems, resin separation and purification systems, and integrated tailored packages combining media, system and process engineering.

Can resins remove PFAS?

PFAS removal is one of the listed potable water applications for our resins, alongside softening, pitcher and cartridge duties and heavy metal trace removal. The right medium and configuration depend on the specific compounds and concentrations.
