Analyzer and metering systems

Analyzer packages in shelters, cabinets and racks — engineered, integrated, factory-tested and commissioned. Around 100 package systems assembled per year.

Overview

Overview

Glorinda specialises in the integration of highly specialised and customised analytical systems: analyzer packaging, process on-line analyzers, CEMS, and systems for power plants and water treatment facilities. With extensive experience in instrumentation and control system engineering, we serve oil and gas refineries, petrochemicals and upstream projects.

Our team runs from design and technical engineers to analyzer service experts, with QA/QC specialists alongside. We cover analyzer theory, design and engineering, field service, training and maintenance, and we run training sessions twice a year that are open to all our customers.

The deeper technical library, capability detail and the full reference list live at analyzer.glorinda.com.

How Glorinda products are made. Glorinda is the brand owner and the technical authority. Products carrying our name are developed under the Glorinda brand and manufactured by qualified OEM partners inside a quality-controlled supply chain that we specify and audit. We own the technical specification, the branding, the quality control and the custom product development. We do not operate our own factories, and we would rather say so than have a procurement engineer discover it during vendor qualification.

Products

Analyzer package system

A unified package integrating various analyzers and measuring instruments to monitor the real-time physical and chemical properties of process line samples, supporting process optimisation and quality management across oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining and power generation. Delivered as an analyzer shelter, cabinet or rack, designed to accommodate gas chromatographs, IR analyzers, NIR analyzers, total sulfur analyzers, physical property analyzers, CEMS analyzers, O₂ analyzers, oil-in-water analyzers, moisture analyzers and TOC analyzers.

CEMS and AQMS

A comprehensive continuous emission monitoring and air quality monitoring solution using technology from trusted vendors, offering real-time monitoring and measurement of emissions and air quality. A wide range of monitoring equipment — analysers, sampling systems and sensors — detects various pollutants and gases, with a data analysis and reporting system that makes the collected data interpretable and actionable.

Liquid analyzer system

Accurate and reliable measurement of pH, ORP, conductivity, TOC, chlorine, ammonia and dissolved oxygen. Liquid analysis protects capital assets such as boilers and cooling towers by preventing corrosion, minimising maintenance and maximising uptime. Highly customisable and used in power generation, water treatment and chemical processing.

Sampling system

Designed for performance and accuracy so that samples are prepared and analysed to a consistent standard, whether the driver is a strict regulatory requirement or a complex sample. Integrates with mass spectrometers, gas chromatographs and other analytical instruments for seamless sample preparation and analysis.

Corrosion monitoring system

Corrosion measurement is the quantitative method by which the effectiveness of corrosion control and prevention techniques is evaluated, providing the feedback needed to optimise them. Technical options within corrosion control include cathodic and anodic protection, materials selection, chemical dosing, and application of internal and external coatings.

Package features and key characteristics

Features

  • Sample conditioning system — aligns the pressure, temperature and fluid condition of the sample with what the analyzer requires, installed at the sample in-line section.
  • Enclosure — a structure designed to protect the analyzer from hazards and meet installation requirements.
  • Hazardous conditions — electrical and non-electrical fixtures designed to prevent and withstand explosions.
  • Manual sampling system — for the highest level of performance and accuracy in sample preparation.
  • Corrosion monitoring system integrated into the package where required.
  • Analyzer management system, gas cylinders and cylinder accessories.

Key characteristics

  • Compliance with stringent governmental regulations, ensuring adherence to industrial standards.
  • Emphasis on safety, safeguarding personnel and equipment through automatic shutdown systems.
  • Economical advantages through improved process control and operational efficiency.
  • Precise interpretation of process quality control and functionality, providing insight for optimal performance.

Glorinda Systems holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and has implemented a total quality programme providing continuous improvement.

What the numbers mean

Analyzer packages are not stock items. Each one is a small building containing a process measurement system, and the constraint on delivery is normally assembly and staging space rather than component availability.

Being able to assemble and store up to 25 shelters simultaneously is what allows multi-package projects to be built, integrated-staged and factory acceptance tested together rather than in sequence — which is usually where analyzer scopes slip on an EPC programme.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an analyzer package system?

A unified package integrating analyzers and measuring instruments into a shelter, cabinet or rack, monitoring the real-time physical and chemical properties of process line samples. It includes the sample conditioning system, the enclosure, hazardous area protection, the analyzer management system and the utilities the analysers need.

How many packages can you deliver in a year?

Glorinda has the capacity to assemble approximately 100 analyzer package systems per year, and can assemble and store up to 25 shelters simultaneously. Each shelter is approximately 5.0 m wide, 3.0 m deep and 2.7 m high.

Do you carry out FAT and SAT?

Yes. Analyzer assembly, factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing are part of the engineering and design service, along with integrated staging before shipment.

Have you built similar projects?

Yes — the reference list on this page is an extract covering delivered analyzer packages for refineries and petrochemical complexes in Korea, Malaysia, Kuwait, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Philippines, Vietnam and elsewhere. A fuller list is available on request.

Can you maintain analysers you did not supply?

Maintenance, commissioning and training services are offered for analyzer package systems. Tell us what you have and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people to service it.
